Windows, Womens Tires and Holy Men

Good friend of mine was heading out of Houston up to the Dallas Fort Worth area today. She happen to mention the tires on her SUV might need attention. How to do I know she asked? We'll being a guy I copied and pasted the 3 step Penny tire evaluation whereas she realized that the two left side tires were in dire need of replacement. Naturally they will get replaceded, Right after this trip ...Yeah Right!

Women and their tires I pronounced!

There should be a rule...like get a free set of tires for every fourth or forteenth pair of shoes! Seriously, why to you Gals wait so long to check the tires.

NOW, before you assume what you WILL assume. I must admit. An hour later I texted and inquired as to how large the hole in a mans sock can be before it is a liabilty. Yeah! answer was "any hole too big". Same for sock, same for head.

Ladies, your not any different than we are. Men, I mean!.....just as head strong, right and totally justified.

Unlike a sock with holes. Wood and faux wood blinds are available in routeless options. Routeless is the option that eliminates the tiny holes in each slat, be it real wood or faux. Routeless reduces a little more light and makes a little cleaner look to your window blind. Check out routeless 2 1/2" blinds and faux blinds with the routeless option.

As for my lady friend? Well, I thought she liked Holy men, but apparently not the ones with holes in their socks. Or maybe, she just is stranded with bad tires. Have not heard. Pray for her.

Thanks Ya'll, Have a great March Weekend!
Blessings,

Windows Blinds Warm The Soul

When considering window fashions you need to keep in mind the feeling you want to create in your home. Softness is certainly something to consider. Do you need warm wood tones like Golden Oak stained wood blinds? Perhaps your looking for the subtleness of a Cherry 2"real wood blind. The fabric of the cellular shade is soft and reduces harsh light to a simple relaxing glow that makes for the most calm setting. You will enjoy the setting of your space alone or with friends so you need to consider the atmosphere. White window decor can brighten any space. Something about white blinds and shades cause the room to pop! with contrast to off colored opposing wall surfaces.

Texture also plays a roll. Woods might seem hard, yet in soft tones can sooth the mind through the eyes and take you to that place that says..Finally I'm HOME! Fabric honeycomb shades are surely gentle to the eye and filter light in that special way that is not matched by the open view of the window blind.

As a training purpose or field experiment shall we say. Go outside and stand in the drive. You know in the fullness of God's sunshine. Feel that warmth? Does'nt it just make you wish you could reach out and pull it around you like blanket? What a feeling!

That same felling can be brought to the indoors with the right window treatment. Give some thought. Many sytles and colors are available for your decerning heart and mind.

Have a wonderful day. Go play in the Sun!

Blessings,

Go Fly a Kite

Hey Ya'll

Life gets so complicated. The never ending work. The kids got school and all their activities. You barely find the time to sit down and order your window blinds. You know you want 2" blinds, but your not sure if they should be white or stained. Or maybe you ordered the samples and you did'nt follow through because you did'nt put your online list together for pricing. Well! Here's my advice. Sit down enter your sizes get your price and save it to the wish list. Now you have a place to come back to for you final determination. And then!

Go fly a kite! Yes, I said it. Go fly a kite! Seriously how long has it been since you flew a kite? March is windy. Best time to pickup a couple of cheap kites (they still sell them) find a friend from elementary school and go fly a kite. It's so easy a child can do it or an old guy and his not so old friend. You'd be amazed what a great time can be had just flying a kite. The memories, relaxation and conversation is so simple and yet so irreplaceble, you don't want to miss out.

After flying your kite you'll be so relaxed, you'll have no problem completing your order for window shades or blinds. Imagine that. Your windows are filled with a beautiful new decor that brings joy to your life and lifts your spirit. Just because you went to fly a kite. Oh, don't forget the power lines on take off and watch out for aircraft, because kites do soar.

God Bless and enjoy March Wind.

Your View Is Important

What do you see when you look through the blinds? Is it green grass or really tall pines? The view is important, it is where you are.

You don't want to view though something bizare.

You'd be amazed, how the sites draw your gaze when looking through blinds, that are'nt all broken and mazed.

Replace the old and bring in the new it will make you feel better and brighten the view.

Real wood 2" blinds are easy to install and not as expensive as might think. Simple measurements are made by you and then an online ordering process allows you to fulfill yet another task without leaving the home. You save gas and time and have peace of mind.

Venetian style wood and faux wood blinds will brighten any view from the inside of the home. Faux wood is less expensive durable replacement for the high quality basswood. Faux wood whites are excellant for Spring time to whiten and brighten.

Got a large window. No problem. Try a 2 on 1 or 3 on1 head rail system. This option allows for one head rail across a wider opening, yet operates 2 and or 3 blinds. In a Roman fold shade or Honeycomb cellular shade the reference is often spliced head rail. The purpose is to allow a lighter weight, which operates more smoothly and also to allow for fitting to certain window pane divisions. Each blind or shade can have it's own tilt lift or rollease, dependant on type and option available.

Spring is near! Start the renovation and be ready for the summer time to come.

God Bless, Have a wonderful week.
