Now the variation of the 2 inch blind does seem to split somewhat between the wood blind and the faux wood blind. Woods are always the top of the line, premium choice due to the lighter weight which makes for smoother operation and not to mention the stained color choices. Faux wood on the other hand is tougher and is available in flame retardant materials, an issue important depending on the application. Pricing does cause many to choose the faux over the wood, but the trend remains 2 inch blinds thus far.
